Natasha Nikol

Literary Nonfiction Writer

A young woman with long wavy hair, wearing a denim jacket, white shirt, and shorts, stands outdoors with a large white dog, possibly a Great Pyrenees, during daytime. She is holding a book and looking off to the side in a natural setting with trees and a fence in the background.

Natasha Nikol is a writer rooted between the American West and the Mediterranean.

Her writing has appeared in Vanity Fair, and she holds a degree in journalism from California State University, Long Beach, where she graduated with honors. Over the past decade her commissioned work has spanned luxury travel and motorsports, alongside editing for one of the world’s largest research publishers.

Her first book is a memoir set in California and Greece.

A fifth-generation Californian, she came to know Greece through her partner, a native Athenian. When she isn’t writing, she’s chasing waves on her longboard along the California coast, cooking recipes collected during her travels, or riding on the back of a motorcycle down a winding mountain road.
